VK3ARD SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW 10W portable on 40m, was good fun!
VK4OTZ SINGLE-OP SSB QRP Super fun contest! Running 5W into a 40m long endfed. Getting 64 contacts in one night was definitely worth losing sleep over........ right?
VK2PW SINGLE-OP MIXED HIGH Great Competition, pretty good band conditions particularly on 80m. 40m was ver early on but became entrenched with Indonesians in the 2nd block. 160m was sparse but nice to see a reasonable amount of VKs making it happen on 160m. Praise must be given to the beahaviour of Amateurs throughout the competition, good spacing and some very nice transmissions out th
VK4M SINGLE-OP MIXED HIGH Conditions were superb on all 3 bands, and got better as the night progressed. 40m was trash in the last block. Good sigs helped VK6 and VK8 for sure. Ran 400W, 160m Vertical, 80m Vert combined with full wave loop, and 40m 4 Square. Seems everyone had a ball. thanks for the friendly contacts.
VK5LJ SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW Generally low noise and good propagation all round.
VK3CWS SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW Operated via Remote Station VK3CNE
VK2MTM SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW radio yeesu 991a antenna 80-40 meter dipole
VK5CV SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW I would like to see digital modes from the 21st century permitted. JS8 for instance is not as automated as FT8.
VK2IG SINGLE-OP MIXED QRP Quiet contest when operating CW only, but enjoyable. Good conditions. Station consisted of TS-480HX at 5W output, 40m switchable Y-doublet, 80m inverted vee, and 160m inverted L - all at 15m height. Thanks to all who answered my calls - look forward to hearing you next contest!
ZL3VZ SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW Conditions seemed good with 160m coming ok for me after 1300 UT. Operated portable from Thorpe RE68kr. Thanks to the organisers.
VK2AMW MULTI-OP MIXED HIGH LOTS OF GREAT CONTACTS. VK2AMW IS THE CLUB STATION OF THE ILLAWARRA AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY. WE USE A SITE IN THE SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS OF NSW NEAR BUNDANOON. SOLAR POWERED.
VK2EZF SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW Thanks to all the organisers. My first Trans Tasman. Running a TS830S at about 70W out to a doublet 22m long at 8m above ground. I'd never used this setup on 80m before as I was convinced the antenna would be rubbish. But I was very pleasantly surprised by the good sig reports I received on 80m.
VK6KQ SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW First 4 QSOs were QRP (Yaesu FT-817 - 5W) Subsequent contacts on Icom IC-7000. Antenna - Dipole at 5m.
VK3SPX SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW Lost actual frequency on a few logs due to CAT failure.
VK7JGD SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW THANKS FOR RUNNING THE CONTEST ALL GOOD FUN 73
VK1TTY SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW TY FOR CONTEST
VK3BSE SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW 100W into loaded 1/4 wave. Conditions were good.
VK2MT SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW Seemed like there was quite a few fellow contesters. Operated portable while camping in the bush just south of Humpty Doo NT. Totally different propagation characteristics than down south on the coast, for instance, 80m didn't really take-off until halfway thru the second block (it wasn't even dark until 0930) while 40m was useless from early on with so many huge signals from our nthn neighbours. Thanks to VK4SN for managing the Contest.
VK6N MULTI-OP MIXED HIGH Excellent contest, many stations active, 40 and 80 both very good. Had many contacts with QRP stations and even one station call with 1 watt. Club members very much enjoyed the event and all had a great time.
