VK7JGD SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW THANKS FOR ANOTHER TT CONTEST A BIT ON THE NOISY QRN SIDE BUT STILL FUN I HEARD A LOT MORE STATIONS THAN COULD HEAR ME PARTICULARLY ZLs and VK6s cheers GarryVK7JGD
VK7VH SINGLE-OP MIXED QRP Band conditions were very poor, still had a good time. Great to work some of the contest stallwarts!! I would suggest a format change for next year. 40M is always dead after 7.00pm local time. Consider an 80M only contest, just like the old days!!
VK8HPB SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW High noise level with JA ind YB only stations heard. But percerverered to get the Ultimate high score. Be back next year.
ZL1YE SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW Not much time available this year so came on with plan to hand out points. Hope everyone had fun. Running with TS570D and several dipoles for 80 and 40 metres
ZL3VZ SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW Operated portable from a plateau at St Arnaud (Lake Rotoiti), RE68JF. Ambient noise is low but on contest night the atmospheric noise was very high. I understand that this was also the case in Australia and some stations had difficulty with my SOAPBOX:signal accordingly. Hence my score was lower than I had hoped. 160m was tough going and 40m SOAPBOX:dropped out around 0700 UT. At least 80m seemed to be in reasonable shape and improved as time SOAPBOX:went on. Rig used was a 706 MkIIG and the antenna a homebrew 160m Windom used for all three bands. The SOAPBOX:highest point was only 7m. Enjoyed the contest - thanks to the organisers.
ZL4RMF SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW 40m disapeared early, 80 & 160 picked up as the night continued. Great fun!

VK2AOJ MULTI-OP MIXED HIGH 40MTRS WAS BAD NO ONE ON IT
VK4NA SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW Home Station
VK4HH MULTI-OP MIXED HIGH Activity was noticeably reduced in the 2nd half of each 2hr session. 40m activity was non-existant after the 1st 2 hr session.
VK2EMU SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW Went portable to the Razorback lookout about 70km southwest of Sydney, a round trip of about 115km for me. Setup took 25 minutes at dusk for a half wave inverted V for 80m held up at the centre by a collapsible flag pole and at the end by some trees. Take down was 8 minutes at midnight and home by 1am. Radio was a TS-120S
VK2FENG SINGLE-OP MIXED QRP Transmitter: TS480HX @ 5W PEP output Antenna: 80m OCF dipole (80 & 40m)
VK4ADC SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW Hindered by power line noise at S9 on 80M, present only with the arrival of a ra Surprised at the lack of stations returning to 40M in 2nd and 3rd blocks despite Tried hard but the QRN won.
VK6TV/P2 SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW operating from Young NSW
ZL1PC SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW EEnjoyable contest, and friendly operators. I was a bit disappointed with the CW
VK2ATZ MULTI-OP MIXED LOW 40 Metres a dead loss. CW and SSB produced a handfull of contacts. 80 Metres was the money band with the bulk of our contacts from there 160 was spasmodic but provided good copy and good opps. All in all was an entertaining night.
VK2MB MULTI-OP MIXED HIGH We operated the Trans Tasman contest portable whilst camping at the Sugee Bag Creek - Scout camping ground at Central Mangrove. - Great time had by all. Great radio, food and company.
VK2MT SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW 6 hour Competitions are always enjoyable. Had only just flown back from New Zealand last night, so a good coincidence! Radio: Icom IC-7600 Antenna: Random length long wire with remote ATU. Only operated on 80m as antenna won't tune for 160m & 40m seemed rather dead for VK/ZL. Band conditions were reasonable, strength 2-3 of noise. Static crashes increased, then halfway thru strong hetrodyne-type noises spread around 3.6MHz. The band noise & static crashes abated for the last hour.
VK2TTL SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW Thanks for the contest. There was reasonable storm stactic this evening from nearby thunderstorms Tried 160m , could hear several stations, but the 80m dipole not good enough for others to hear me over their noise. IC7300 100w along 60m coax to a Fan Di-pole between Gums. 73s Locator QG60NR
VK3CAB SINGLE-OP MIXED QRP Very character building as the temperature in the shack was around 12C I notice that the log file for this contest is showing up as 'VKTTRTTY' - Is tha
